Heide Müller is one of the most promising young choir conductors in Germany and is increasingly in demand as a guest conductor in Europe.

She regularly works as a guest conductor and chorus master with renowned ensembles, including Cappella Amsterdam, The Norwegian Soloists' Choir, the Balthasar-Neumann-Chor, the Chor des Bayerischen Rundfunks, and the NDR Vokalensemble. Her work is characterized by high musical expertise and a nuanced approach to stylistically diverse repertoire.

Heide Müller is the second prize winner of the Eric Ericson Award 2024 in Stockholm and was awarded the Förderpreis für junge Künstlerinnen und Künstler by the state of North Rhine-Westphalia in 2022.

She is the founder and conductor of the cara tonale vokalensemble, artistic director of Ensemble DALÍ in Kristiansund, and will take over the artistic direction of the Landesjugendchor Schleswig-Holstein in 2025. She is particularly passionate about supporting young musicians and composers. With great commitment, she advocates for contemporary music and strives to develop innovative concert programs and formats that are accessible to a diverse and varied audience.

She studied choral conducting in Detmold and Stockholm and completed her Master's degree with Prof. Grete Pedersen at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo. She was a fellow of the Forum Dirigieren of the Deutscher Musikrat, the Norwegian conductor's forum of Talent Norge, and Tenso CONNECT.
